About VetClaimsGuide

By the VetClaimsGuide Editorial Team · Updated June 2026

VetClaimsGuide is an independent, veteran-informed educational platform built to help veterans organize and better understand VA disability claim information.

Our mission

The VA claim process can be confusing, and good information is often hard to act on. Our mission is to make that information clear and usable. We build free educational tools and checklists, designed around public VA guidance, that help veterans organize their questions and evidence before speaking with an accredited professional.

What we do

Who we are

VetClaimsGuide is produced by the VetClaimsGuide Editorial Team, a veteran-informed group focused on accuracy, clarity, and respect for veteran privacy. Our content is built around public VA guidance and reviewed for plain-language accuracy. We keep the focus on the information and the tools, not on individuals.

Our approach

We are education first and privacy minded. We do not sell personal information, we do not make promises about outcomes, and we are transparent about where our information comes from. You can read more in our Trust & Editorial Standards and Sources & Methodology.

What we are not

VetClaimsGuide does not provide VA claim representation, file claims for veterans, guarantee outcomes, provide legal advice, or provide medical advice. It does not replace a Veterans Service Officer, accredited representative, attorney, or medical provider, and it is not affiliated with the Department of Veterans Affairs.
