Terms of Service

By the VetClaimsGuide Editorial Team · Effective July 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the VetClaimsGuide website, tools, dashboards, and subscription features (together, the "Service"), operated by VetClaimsGuide ("VetClaimsGuide," "we," "us," or "our"). VetClaimsGuide is an educational software platform. Please read these Terms carefully. By using the Service, you agree to them.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Service, creating an account, or purchasing a subscription, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service or to create an account. By using the Service, you represent that you are 18 or older and that the information you provide is accurate.

3. What VetClaimsGuide Is, and What It Is Not

VetClaimsGuide provides educational software and self-help organizational tools, including educational content and resources, organization tools, AI-assisted drafting, dashboards, calculators, document organization, exportable summaries, and progress tracking. The Service is designed to help veterans organize their own information and better understand the VA disability claims process.

VetClaimsGuide is not, and does not provide, the following:

The Service does not evaluate the merits of your individual claim and does not tell you what to claim, what evidence to submit, or what to say. You remain solely responsible for every decision regarding your claim.

4. Educational Purpose of the Tools

Every tool, calculator, checklist, template, dashboard, and Blueprint on the Service is provided for educational and organizational purposes only. Estimates (such as rating or backpay estimates) are general educational approximations based on publicly available VA information and are not predictions of any VA decision. Nothing on the Service is a substitute for the advice of a VSO, VA-accredited representative, accredited claims agent, attorney, or licensed medical provider.

5. AI-Generated Content

Some features use artificial intelligence and automated logic to generate educational drafts, checklists, summaries, and suggestions from the information you enter. You acknowledge and agree that AI-generated and automated content:

6. Personal Statements and Drafts

Any personal statement, letter, or similar document produced by the Service is a starting draft generated for your own review and editing. It is not a completed statement, not a VA form, and not filed with the VA. You are responsible for reviewing, correcting, completing, and rewriting any draft in your own truthful words, and for deciding whether and how to use it. VetClaimsGuide does not prepare or submit these documents for you.

7. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for your claim and your decisions. This includes:

You agree to provide accurate information and not to rely on the Service as your sole source of information for any claim decision.

8. No Representation or Professional Relationship

Using the Service, creating an account, or purchasing a Premium subscription does not create any of the following relationships between you and VetClaimsGuide:

You are purchasing access to educational software and organizational tools, not professional services, representation, or advice.

9. Premium Subscription, Billing, and Cancellation

Subscriptions. Premium is an optional paid subscription that unlocks additional software features (such as saved workspaces, cloud sync, guided Blueprints, AI-assisted drafting, progress tracking, reminders, and exportable summaries). Premium is offered on a monthly and an annual plan at the prices shown at checkout.

Acknowledgment at checkout. Before completing a purchase, you must affirmatively acknowledge that VetClaimsGuide provides educational software and organizational tools only, that it does not prepare, submit, prosecute, or represent VA disability claims, that it does not provide legal or medical advice, and that it does not guarantee any outcome. Your purchase confirms that acknowledgment.

Billing and auto-renewal. Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) at the then-current price, unless you cancel before the renewal date. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method until you cancel.

Cancellation. You may cancel at any time through the billing management area in your account. When you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of the current paid period, after which it will not renew. Your saved information generally remains available to you consistent with our data practices.

Refunds. Except where required by applicable law, subscription fees already charged are non-refundable, and cancelling stops future charges rather than refunding the current period. Any specific refund practices we choose to offer will be described at the point of purchase. (This refund provision should be confirmed and customized by counsel to match your intended policy and applicable law.)

Account management. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service and all of its contents are owned by VetClaimsGuide or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. This includes, without limitation, the software, source code, algorithms, automated logic, AI prompts and instructions, dashboards, user interface and design, branding, name, logos, graphics, text, checklists, templates, and educational content. Except for the limited right to use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial claim preparation, we grant you no ownership or license in any of the foregoing. You may keep and use the documents and summaries you personally create for your own purposes.

11. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

We may suspend or terminate access for any violation of these Terms.

12. No Warranty

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any estimate, draft, or output will be correct or suitable for your situation. You use the Service at your own risk.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted under Florida law, VetClaimsGuide and its owners, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of benefits, profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Without limiting the foregoing, VetClaimsGuide is not liable for:

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to VetClaimsGuide in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. (The specific liability cap and disclaimers should be reviewed and adjusted by counsel for enforceability under Florida law.)

14. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party providers to operate, including, for example, a payment processor (such as Stripe), email delivery services (such as MailerLite and MailerSend), a hosting and content-delivery provider (such as Cloudflare), and analytics and search tools (such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console), among others. These providers operate under their own terms and privacy policies, and VetClaimsGuide is not responsible for their services, availability, or practices.

15. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page, and your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. (Any venue, dispute-resolution, or arbitration provisions should be added and tailored by a Florida attorney.)

18. Severability and Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any disclaimers presented within the Service, constitute the entire agreement between you and VetClaimsGuide regarding the Service.

19. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent to support@vetclaimsguide.com.
